Can pour- fresh batch 12/24/21 clear golden straw color with frothy white head leaving foamy lacing. Nose is earthy and dank with sweet malt and a bit of citrus and stone fruit. Taste follows with a mild bitterness lingering on a slightly dry finish.

Canned 3/29/17.
Look: Golden amber. Minimal head, slight lacing.
Smell: Pine, peach, and apricot. Bittersweet, if you will.
Taste: A well-balanced DIPA. Between hops and malt, that is. As with most IPAs that are a little more malt-forward, the malt sweetness is more prominent the further you get into the beer.
Feel: Certainly an imperial. The alcohol lingers on your tongue mixed with hoppy bitterness.
Overall: Just okay. Liked it, would drink it again. But a little too malty and lacking a distinct, unique aroma/flavor combination. Will have to try on tap, as well.

I was blown away by this can- world class with attention paid to details and a very bold flavor (nothing weird, just awesome boldness) of citrus, flowers, spices. This was complex stuff that I think was stuffed with as many hops as possible without losing the flavor. Awesome shit.

Appearance - Pours relatively clear and golden in color with an off-white, near finger width head. Fair retention before peeling back to a mostly barren surface with a fair ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Not much for lacing aside from a few tiny spots, most of which slide right back into the drink.
Smell - The aroma 'blooms' with juicy, tropical notes, hitting on orange, pineapple, lesser passionfruit and pine, a hint of mango and a subtle 'white bread' sweetness.
Taste - Follows the nose. Juicy orange and pineapple upfront with a slight touch of dankness. Passionfruit follows closely after. A touch of breadiness that hints at slight toast. Light spiciness. Finishes with light pith and lingering passionfruit.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with moderate, bitey carbonation. Slick texture makes this an easy drinker with a fairly dry finish.
Overall - Holy tropicalia, Batman! Very flavorful and easy drinking. It doesn't quite have the malt backbone to provide balance, but with a delicious, bright hop profile as such, it's not necessarily needed.
