Can poured into a tulip glass. Pours mostly dark black, some brown hues depending on the incident light angle, with 1+ finger of variable-low density dark khaki head that had minimal retention and left no lacing. Nose is all chocolate until the beer warms. Once warm it becomes more dynamic, some subtle caramel sweetness and hints of coconut. Taste is where this beer steps on the gas. Was worried as a milk stout this one would be overly sweet, but the multiple flavor additions give a breadth of flavor that really provide outstanding balance. Taste is still heavy on the chocolate, but with the caramel and coconut in far more prominent roles that on the nose. Not noticing the coffee on nose or taste. Finishes clean, a little bitterness (perhaps the only coffee contribution I could observe on my palate) and little lingers on the palate except for perhaps just the faintest hint of caramel sweetness. Mouthfeel on the thinner side (though truth be told a little unsure what to expect out of an imperial milk stout), carbonation on the lower end. Very happy to see the Bike Dog collab was a milk stout variant. I like the BD standard milk stout, and this collab beer does not disappoint. Wish I had more than one can!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
