Thanks to flexabull for being such a lousy fantasy baseball manager & sending me this 16 oz. can amongst many other treasures. I appreciate it!
The pour is a clear gold with a big head that collapses & leaves lots of “lacing” (does anyone every ooh & aah & go “I’m f-ing buying this beer again!” because of foam on the glass?). The nose is bitter lemon.
Amplitude is a nice throwback to the days of aught twelve, before the onslaught of sugar buried the bitterness of a typical IPA. This is bitter – no doubt. Wave of bitterness mingles genially with the aforementioned lemon, cut only slightly by a malted sweetness. Touch of mango or kiwi or some such on the finish. Rough in the mouth; my tongue feels sandpapered. But going down easily.
Looked this up on U-tapped & was surprised at the low ratings…they’re usually as inflated as they are hereabouts. Better than indicated, this is a refreshing change of pace & good, solid IPA.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
