Had on-tap at Round Table Clubhouse in Citrus Heights, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, clear and bright salmon in color with a mostly batten surface and a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing with thin, broken webbing, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Straight up watermelon jolly rancher aroma. Sweet, sour and watermelon fruitiness
Taste - Follows the nose to no surprise. Watermelon Jolly Rancher in liquid form. Faint trace of malt and hop in there somewhere. Tart, candied watermelon finish.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick drinker before a sharp, dry finish.
Overall - They accomplished what was set out to be done; a sweet, tart candified watermelon brew. While I couldn't drink more than one pint at a time due to the overall richness, it surely delivers on its promise.
