From tasting notes 04/29/21
Had on-tap at Round Table Pizza Clubhouse in Citrus Heights, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, opaque and deep violet in color. Mostly barren surface with a few small islands of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Not really lacing so much as a lit of fruit sediment decorating the glass.
Smell - Heavy medley of fresh berry character, with hints of vanilla sitting beneath that.
Taste - Follow the nose. Fresh berry notes that hit on equally tart and sweet berry juiciness, with a solid layer of creamy vanilla sitting beneath. Finishes much the same, with lingering tart and sweet berry while vanilla continues with creamy sweetness. Very much like drinking a melted berry sorbet.
Mouthfeel - Full in body with fair carbonation. Thick and somewhat pulpy, but also creamy and easy drinking.
Overall - Really tasty fruited sour. Maybe not quite as sour as you would like for the style, but damn good all the same. Nice start to this SBE/ Sac area breweries collab.

Sweet and tart, fruit/jammy blackberry, hint of blueberry, and hint of vanilla-banana pudding nose on this one! Taste follows with a juicy-smooth, Smucker's Blackberry Jam vibe upfront and on the palate...and then a slight kick of vanilla, banana, and berry tartness on the backend. This has a nice and fruity-pulpy, smoothie-like mouthfeel. Really yummy! Good Stuff!
