I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that left a nice lace. The scent had a conflict between citrus bitterness and sweet malt. The taste continued that conflict through the entire drink....and never settled to make it an easy drinking beer. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

Poured from 32 oz growler into snifter.
A: Clear golden orange with 2 finger fluffy white head with nice retention and leaving moderate lacing.
S: Orange zest, grapefruit, and fresh pine needles. Subtle hints of baked bread and honey.
T: Blend of piney and citrus hops combined with a healthy malt backbone. Grapefruit with a touch of honey.
M: Medium body with average carbonation. Finish showcases some hop bitterness.
O: Solid DIPA. Something I would buy again for sure.

On tap at the brewery.
A: A beautiful clear copper with half finger white head that lingered. Nice lacing. I remembed this one stood out among the flight we had. Great color.
S: Grapefruit, citrus, sweet.
T: A nice blend of grapefruit and caramel. Very regal as the name implies. Well balanced.
M: Medium with medium, creamy carbonation.
O: One of Cahaba's standouts. Bow down to Fraxinus Maximus.
