Pours a hazy golden straw color. An inch of white head falls quickly to a ring, and dusting. Lacing slides back into the drink.

Wow, it has a strong aroma. Its aroma reminds me of a margarita. I smell sulfur, lime, and tequila. It is tart, and funked up. There is an off smell sauerkraut.

It is tart with some weird flavors. The bad outweighs the good. There are some nice sour fruit flavors, but something rank dominates.

Medium body, with a fair amount of carbonation. It coats my tongue.

Ill take this over a BMC any day, but thats about it.

** There were two separate listings for this beer - a 12 degree Plato blond and 12 degree Plato extra. This review is for the blond. Who the hell merged the two together?**

Tried this the other day.

This beer gushed into my wine glass, spewing all over. Cloudy orange pour with a rather rapidly dissipating white head, leaving a rather unappealing beer. On the nose, this smells... weird. Cooked cabbage and soggy corn flakes. Mild sweetness, with what seems like a sour tinge. On the palate, it's more of the same, an undrinkable mess of soggy corn flakes and a hint of sourness. Bah.

Bottle. Whoa, gusher! Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma of sweet fruits and a biscuity/doughy malt. Flavor is sweet with lots of apple skins and pears and wheat malt in the finish. There is also a slight sour character present. Kind of reminds me more of a Berlinner Weisse or wit bier with all the fruitiness, not a tripel. Very nice.

11.2 oz stubbie poured into a tulip.

Another gusher from the 12% imports family.

A- Hazy straw colored with a 3 fingered head. Large bubbles, kinda strange looking

S-Candied lemon peel. No hops. Not much else to speak of.

t-honey coated bread. pretty sweet. too much for my take on the style. a sacarine (spelled wrong i know) like fake sugar taste. Very low hop bitterness, which would've helped. More of that lemon peel. A light citrus like tartness comes through as the beer warms.

m- Medium bodied. Despite leaping out of the bottle at me, i want to say this could use more carbonation (not enough bite). Lingers on the toungue a little too long, almost like a coating.

d- Not a bad beer. But I wouldn't go out of my way to have it again. Would i turn it down? No.

No freshness date carved. Golden beercolor and hazy look. Not very well lasting head though present in the beginning. Nose is tomatojuice and dryhay in a vegetable comming like soup. No this is far from fresh to me though some maltyness still present and alcohol well hidden in nose and taste as this one is hangingly and heavy bittered, pepper like and dry caracter, some maltyness there but mostly bitter, spicy and burning. Unfresh and unbalanced mouthfeel and a hard one to finish.

A very average Blond Beer that has few discerning features.
Pours well with a good head, as you would expect, some sediment at the end infiltrated the clear light golden beer giving it a yellowy haze akin to a wheat beer. Low on aromas, not much to pick at, apart from that if grainy alcohol. A clean taste to start with, some alcohol and citric hoppiness, with grain and malt in the middle, but spoilt at the end by some mild antiseptic "hospital" tastes that are really off-putting. A Run-of-the-Mill Belgium Blond Beer, nothing exeptional.
