Becker's Corner

 

This has become a favorite local place. They are trying very hard to be a beer bar. They expanded their taps from 5 to 13, and have Bud light, Stella and Sam Adams on 3, the rest are Micros that rotate and 3 or 4 are often local breweries. Their bottle selection is growing and they've been building a loyal base of beer fans from whom they've become very receptive of suggestions.

On Tuesday evenings they've begun holding beer events with local breweries, distributors, and even home brewers. The events feature beer samplings and voting in which they take the top three selections and add them to there regular offering.
They are learning, and seem to have a genuine interest in becoming a legitimate beer bar.

The food is good, a basic menu with some creativity, and again a willingness to accommodate any reasonable request. They are located "in" Nockamixon State Park, and worth a visit if in the area, or attend one of their Tuesday events for what is usually been a good time.
