Well this was the first beer I purchased at an antique store! Got it for about five dollars- I figured it was worth a try at 5 bucks.
Okay, a bit flat but the taste was not bad at all and I expect that this was an excellent beer back in 1985. As it was in 2021, it poured a deep purplish brown color with just a hint of head. Smell and taste of dark prunes and sweet plums. Port-like with dark raisins and a bit of booze.
Yeah, it was worth the $5.
