Not palatable. Smells like it should taste pleasant, but bitter and unredeeming flavor profile.

Canned 1/6/22; drank 3/3/22 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; frothy lace.
Orange soda, wheat & faint pickle juice notes in the nose. Uh-oh...
Medium mouthfeel.
Pickle juice, orange soda & faint wheat flavors.
Off-putting and borderline undrinkable. I know I didn't finish it...

Cloudy orange on the pour with big head and ample lace. Aroma is sweet and taste is fruity and smooth. This is a decent Hazy IPA...

To start, two twelve ounce cans are emptied into a clear glass liter mug. The brew's color is a darker shade of orange-amber. It's dull and opaque. True to the label, the aroma is hoppy in a tropical fruit reminiscent character. The slightly off-white head is enduring, but little glass lacing occurs. There are layers of flavor here. The tip of the tongue gets hit with some fruity sweetness, but it quickly gives way to a more earthy malt taste. Then a hoppy presence that's not very bitter carries to the finish. Only during the aftertaste can any real bitterness be detected. Despite all that goes on as this beer is consumed, it's all mild. This is a well made version of a relatively unexciting style. Pleasant enough to have when it's available and there's not many other options, but hardly a go to brew.

Appearance - Pours with a fair haze and is light orange in color. White, near two-finger width head that holds well until dying down to a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface.
Smell - Fair aroma. Light citrus and tropical character. Maybe a touch of floral in there.
Taste - Hits on notes of tangerine, peach ring, pineapple and a bit of passionfruit. Anchor's signature woodsy "sawdust" flavor sitting beneath.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Clean, slick drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - This is a solid hazy, but their signature character doesn't quite mesh well with the lighter, brighter tropical notes.

From the variety pack. First time I have seen it and it's at a store that I don't frequent that often. All were packaged in April.
Pours a lightly hazed straw gold with an impressive head of foam and lacing.
Smells of mango, pineapple and oranges.
Taste is mango, pineapple, oranges, toasted malt and Anchor yeast. Very tasty.
Great juicy mouthfeel.
For being a bit over 4 months old, this is quite impressive.

You can’t go wrong with Anchor. Poured translucent amber yellow. Head sticks around on edges. Smells of pineapple, grapefruit. Taste is juicy, oranges. Nice bitterness that hangs around. I got this from a variety pack and all were enjoyable :)
