A dark amber color with a faint white ring.
Smell is faint, just malt, rum and green apples/grapes.
Taste is off the rails. Rich and malty, with rum, whiskey, green apple, golden raisins, red grapes, and spices perfectly balanced in this now room temperature brew.
Like liquid silk, oozing its way to your throat. Warming it's way down the pipe. This full bodied brew is amazing.

Appearance: Arrives with a clear copper color capped by quite a frothy head; plenty of lacing hangs around
Smell: Caramel and maple tones; the smoke is very subtle
Taste: Caramel and maple, up front, with smoked tones and pine developing; the finish leans in a very sweet direction
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate carbonation
Overall: A nice barleywine with a few wrinkles; just a bit sweet and lacks some balance

Nice sweet smokey taste, like BBQ ribs, yummy! Not near as strong and full bodied as most Barleywines. Wish this could be bottled. Another must try from one of Tampa Bay's best breweries. 4.6
