Nose of sweet malts, vanilla, faint bourbon & oak. Taste light bourbon, raisins, wood, butterscotch, caramel, dark fruit, light ABV, slightly dry finish.

From a bottle at the brewery. Sampled just after the regular, 7.6% ABV Scotch Wee Heavy. This one is transformed. Higher ABV with accompanying alcohol esters, lots of bourbon barrel effects, a smoother body, and much greater complexity. The version even has a better head.
