i havent had much of the hoppy stuff from these guys, but this one is also very good, if a tad less refined than some of their best wild beers. from the tap, it pours a very milky hazy looking washed out orangish color and holds a full inch of frothing white head. the aroa is super juicy, melony, heavily dry hopped, a very cool aromatic expression of the vic secret hop, which we rarely see in this context. i get lime, lemongrass, and fresh honeydew melon in the flavor, but also a little more bitterness than i was anticipating and not a whole lot of grain to balance, despite this having plenty of body and a feel thats bordering on creamy. the bitterness is sort of unexpected, and with the alcohol that comes through a little bit, this seems just a tad harsh to me, but i like it being more than just a juice bomb. the vic secret is delicious ad quite distinct, this was a learning beer for me, and one that will likely help me identify this hop more easily in the future. one glass was enough, it got a little filling and heavy for me, but its a well done beer with a cool new hop! right on trend too with the haziness and dry hop forwardness.
