750ml bottle, 2019 stamped on the label, poured into a stemless wine glass.
The beer pours a cloudy amber color, orange hues with a tall white head, about three fingers tall with good retention and spots of lacing. The aroma is nice, lots of grain, oak, coriander, lemon verbena, wildflower and mineral water. The flavors are nice, tart and funky, smooth oak, chewy and brings out the grains well, lots of wildflower and herbal lemon verbena, clean and bright with a nice coriander citrus zest burst towards the finish which has a nice mineral water expression. The mouthfeel is good, lively medium body that has a lot of texture and finishes easily with a tart and dry bite.
Verdict: A nice beer from Sante Adairius. It's not exactly what I think of when my mind goes to Witbier, but the coriander and citrus peel is definitely there and the lemon verbena is a nice addition that compliments the barrel aging very well. Unique and creative and sure to expand your notion of the style.

It’s really not a surprise... Sante does it again.
Extremely tasty well balanced beer. Pours a nice golden color with notes of lemon grass and citrus on the nose. love the uniqueness of this beer. I taste a lot of lemon zest and funky characteristics. Kind of dry with some residual sugar left in the back. Like I previously stated, a really complex but well balanced beer. Outstanding!
