On cask at the brewery. Tangerine color with no head. Aroma is tart and funky, reminiscent of watered down gueuze, with lemon and grape notes. Flavor is interesting, very woody throughout with light apricot fruitiness and a buttered bread finish. The vinous Chardonnay character comes through mostly in the aroma but there is plenty of barrel in the flavor. A bit heavy on the butter but luckily it finishes dry despite low carbonation.
