Appearance: Clear and golden with moderate carbonation, a bit lower than I'd like.
Smell: Lots of dank citra. Obviously plenty of citrus, primarily pineapple and orange with a touch of BO. There is a bit of funk, presumably from saison yeast. Malt is barely noticeable.
Palate: Pretty light bodied verging on thin. The hop flavor is nice, bringing big pineapple notes with some spicy guava and orange rind beneath. A little crackery malt appears mid palate. The finish has a nice clean bitterness that doesn't overstay its welcome. Farmhouse yeast makes its presence felt on the palate in a subtle way that I find enjoyable.
Overall: A nice hoppy session beer that could be great with a better body.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear golden with a foamy white head. Clean malt aroma, slightly sweet, floral and citrusy hops. Flavor is very similar, equally hoppy and malty, but very clean and dry unlike other ’balanced’ beers. Nice firm bitterness in the back that I consider the best aspect of this beer. Drinkable and pleasant.
