Pours hazy yellow-gold, tinged with tangerine. Aroma is buttery white wine, lemon zest and lime, French cider and mild chlorinic notes from the brett. Very woody and winey in flavor, moderate butter from the oak, tart key lime fruitiness. Carbonation is a little on the low side and this beer would benefit from more sparkliness to liven up a mouthfeel that suffers a bit from the oakiness. Overall quite enjoyable.

750ml bottle into Lost Abbey stemware, thanks!
A: Slightly hazy yellow with a finger of soapy white froth that lingers.
S: A light peppery spiciness with notes of apple, peach, apricot, lemon, and pineapple. There's a solid oak foundation with notes of earth and leather.
T: Brackish and lightly tart with notes of grain, as well as peach, pineapple, and a touch of lemon. Buttery oak is present throughout and there's a dash of white grape and leather. Mild citric acidity with a subtle lactic presence. Dry, fruity, oaky, mildly tannic finish.
M: Lower medium body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is dry and sticky.
Overall: Nice stuff. Highly drinkable but quite complex as well.

Appearance: Pale blonde body that's slightly hazy. A hard pour yields a finger of clinging foam.
Smell: Big oak and chardonnay notes, which thankfully are not overdone. Leathery funk and pineapple, a bit of stonefruit, pepper and spice. Nice brett presence with a touch of lacto underneath.
Palate: Opens with gentle tartness and buttery white wine. Brett brings some great tropical fruit flavors, primarily pineapple and peach. There's some woodsy earthiness and spiciness here too, and a ton of oak toward the finish. While it's tannic, it doesn't feel harsh. In fact, this is pretty quaffable stuff. Very nicely balanced. The mouthfeel is on the upper end of light, and pretty dry.
Overall: Great stuff. Sort of like a lighter, more accessible Temptation, and I mean that in the best possible way.
