I put this in as a Belgian IPA as I wasn’t sure where to fit it. I guess it’s a Saison IPA really. Anyway, it’s a 330ml can, canned on 17/11/2020 and poured into a tulip.
Look: orangey gold, hazy. About 2cm of tight white head with good retention. Looks great.
Smell: hoppy, I could smell the citrus from arms length. There is a little tropical fruit and some grassiness as well. Something slightly lemony acidic right at the end.
Taste: there is a little bit of that citrus and fruit but it is a little more reserved than the nose. A touch of yeast, something a little herbal and there is a slight astringency in there.
Feel: refreshing, lighter but not watery. Tingly carbonation, a rounding bitterness and a dry finish.
Overall: enjoyable, could easily have a few on a hot day.
