Huge store as are the other Specs and Total Wine stores in Dallas area. Beer guy "Scott" was very helpful in getting me some Community BA Legion, which I love. Great selection but nothing rare. Will probably return if I make another Dallas visit.

The best place for craft beer that is in the actual city of Dallas, easy. Ask for the weekly special stuff too to one of the beer buyers, they usually help out if you know what you're looking for.

Always have to stop in while im in Dallas. This place is huge, its like the size of a Home Improvement store, but dedicated to alcohol. Their beer selection is REALLY good, the and the staff has always been happy to help look for a certain beer im searching for, both in-store and over the phone. Probably one of the top 3 best places I've ever bought craft beer from.

Came here for the first time for the Black Friday release of BCBS, and I gotta hand it Spec's. It was so organized and streamlined. Good service, friendly staff. Kind of a weird store layout though but it's not a big deal.

This specs and another located at 5959 Royal Ln #635 Dallas, TX 75230 both offer a very nice selection of local, nationwide, and import beers in a variety of sizes. Single, pint bottles, chilled and non chilled. There was a wall worth of beer fridges and another wall of room temperature bottles and cases.

This Spec's is located o a weird stretch of Central Expressway, kind of hard to get to but worth checking out at least once.

The store is truly gigantic- like one reviewer said, picture a Walmart of alcohol. Indeed. Sadly, one aisle for beer (room temperature) and one long cooler with some chilled brews.

They did have Founders Rubaeus and Nectar Black Xantus plus lots of Clown Shoes, all of which are hard to find around Dallas... also lots of Lips of Faith, but other than that, the beer choices here are rather poor. Yes, you can buy your Stone, Dogfish and Lagunitas staples, plus a good number of locals, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

The food selection is, on the other hand, extraordinary. Lots of cheeses, meats and gourmet products. I bought foie gras!! Only place in Dallas so far to sell it.

Service was non-existent at the beer aisles, although there was a beer guy around but he was way more interested in helping a hot chick looking to buy Shiner Bock than answering my questions. Cashier at checkout was super friendly, though.

Glad I explored this Spec's but will not return.

This is an impressive store. Made a quick stop while visiting relatives in Dallas. A little screwy getting into store because of all the construction, but that appears to be the rule for Dallas.

Very nice, clean store. Picture Walmart for all things alcohol...

Above average craft beer selection with lots of Stone, Jester King, Dogfish Head, Unibroue, Mikkellar, Clown Shoes, Sixpoint, Green Flash and some other Belgians.

Limited branded glassware, but a few non-branded items up front with the wine glasses. Two pack of the Sam Adams pints were in the back. Couple of Unibroue glasses too.

I didn't get a chance to browse the wine or liquor but it looked very impressive.

The staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Beer guy seemed eager to just chat about beer and various breweries.

Would love to have a store half as nice near my hometown. Looking forward to my next trip to Dallas and Specs.

Similiar to most Spec's I have been to over the years. First time in this one as I live on the East Coast now. Above average selection of craft beers and imports and very good selection of refrigerated 6 and 4 packs as well as bombers. IPA/IIPA bombers in the cooler where they belong. Beer guy was pretty knowledgeable of his products but had to ask for the "hard to find" stuff kept in the back. Seems if you are a regular you can get the hook up as he asked a few of his obvious buddies if they wanted a Boulevard Rye-on-Rye (which I had to ask for specifically). Not a condemnation just an observation. Check out was quick and cordial. Didn't look at or need any of the fine foods or other spirits but the selection looked impressive in size. Needed a pint glass as I was travelling and they had them for cheap. Not a large glassware selection but worked in a pinch. Parking is odd, and the location can be a challenge depending on which direction you arrive from.
