Clouds the colour of concrete curtain the sky , and frowning like Judges , they let loose their verdict: "Rain for everyone! Hard Rain". Small animals scurry for cover , weathermen fly south like geese. Water pummels the streets , gathers into gangs and run the gutters. The rest of us just hunker in for another Wet Coast Deluge , humming "...good times are coming , but they're sure coming slow."

wet dog wandering confused streets. soggyman, with a pocketful of bread, adopts the getting home cause.
damp sweater covered in moist digestive cookie crumbs dries in a warm hair salon. prickly soda water, with lemon blush, spills over the building. and beneath it all, in tunnels deep, a single brown sugar mole plods along. his efforts inspire oranges and grapes, branches and vines hitherto asleep, to shake in bloom and burst.
a field of corn whirls and explodes. sweet minerals; giddy rocks. young grass blades slice into April, exciting memories of once full eggshells. a hidden rill dilutes, infiltrates; but all is finally substantiated by a bee kicking honey-bread, leafy pickup notes.

Resinous. Forrest floor. Earthy sweet malts. Dry bitter finish lingers. Gorgeous.

Hoyne Brewing 'Hard Rain DIPA' @ 7.6% , served @ IBF'15 on tap , plus a couple of 650 ml bottle's
A-pour is gold from the tap/bottle to a golden amber in the glass with a medium size white head leaving a spotty lacing along the pint/sampler
S-hoppy with pine mixed with citrus/tropical fruits , decent malt
T-nice tasting DIPA , with a good malt backbone , somewhat smooth with no real big bitterness on the swallow
MF-ok carbonation , big body , slight dryness on the palate
Ov-good beer , might not be such a dismal February with all this 'Hard Rain'
