Bier Garten is Hoyne’s take on the classic German harvest beer, the Weizenbock. Our brewer Chris (fresh off a trip to Germany) has consorted with the other brewers to craft a valiant, Deutsch-inspired libation. Bold malt flavours are balanced by a subtle hop character. Notes of toffee, banana bread and dark red fruit.

This retro throwback to the beers of the Principality of Bavaria before the Germanic nation state was formed. Brewed from Hallertau and Mittlefruh hops and Bavarian malted barley and wheat. The beer has a banana bread, fruit bread taste. Strong and flavourful. Rich caramel sweetens the tastebuds and bounces in the mouth. A very decent attempt to mimic the blocks of Deutschland. Prost and to the harvest we drink. Das Gute, ya!
