Proxima-B is an Earth-sized planet orbiting our nearest neighbour star, Alpha Centauri. Of course, we cannot directly see this planet, being 4.37 light years distant, but we do know it is there. What's more, it is in the "habitable zone", meaning it could support water, and therefore life. If you and I were standing on Proxima-B, enjoying a beer and gazing up at the night sky, we may not even notice our little Sun quietly burning away in a corner of the Galaxy, giving Earth life. Parallax. Shine on, beautiful Sun, Shine on.

Cloudy yellow-straw color. Poured a medium head that turned into small bubbles and then dropped down to a skiff after two minutes. Too cloudy to see the carbonation level. Left patches and strings of lacing.

Moderate barnyard smell. Mixed fruit and green vegetable smell. Some of the time it smelled like fresh celery and some of the time it smelled like mild stonefruit (peach? apricot?). The smell kept shifting. A very fresh mountain-top air smell also popped in and out. Very strange how the scent kept changing while the barnyard stayed around. Very mild yeast and malt. Swirling the glass kicked up a stronger barnyard that hung around for a while. After it faded down, the celery smell took over as the strongest plant smell.

Blend of fruit flavors. Moderate amount of mild roasted malt. Light touch of yeast. Slightly tart with a bit of some funk. Medium bitters that blended so well with the flavors that I didn't even notice it at first. The aftertaste is a stronger bitter with a nut flavor that slowly fades away.

Light tongue tingling. It quickly grows to a light foam. Slightly oily. Slight astringency.

This covers a huge flavor range. Fruits, nuts, vegetables. It's a complete meal. The barnyard is on the edge of being too much without going over.
