Inspired by the more-ish ales found in pubs and snugs across the UK, this pint pours a deep mahogany, under a rich cap of tanned foam. Smooth and restrained bitterness cobbles the way for rich malt flavours reminiscent of toasted nuts, tea biscuits, and toffee. Extra dark Canadian maple syrup transports us back across the pond, and layers in subtle decadence, providing you with the cheekiest of pints. Best enjoyed at a pub with your colleagues, in the middle of the workday. – YL

Clear cola-brown color. Poured a medium-short light tan colored head that collapsed to a patchy skiff in less than a minute. Moderate flow of tiny bubbles from the bottom of the glass. Left long strings and dots of lace.
Medium dark roasted malt smell. A little bit of coffee. A hint of yeast. Swirling the glass kicked up a light barnyard for a few seconds and then it dropped back to the original scents.
Gentle dark roasted malt flavor; nicer than the corresponding scent. Slightly sweet with just a hint of tart. Hint of coffee. Hint of yeast. Very mild bitter. The aftertaste is much the same, but the bitter is stronger. The coffee is the flavor that dies out the slowest.
Light tongue tingling. Almost makes it to a creamy texture, but goes past that point to a slightly coarser bubbled foam. Still lots of fluid below the foam.
Generally pleasant. The mouth feel leads to a bit more guzzling. I think for a proper Pub Lunch (with food) it should be a slightly lighter roast and a touch more bitter.
