Appearance: Nearly black, very dark amber with a quickly receding off-white head.
Smell: Very hoppy with a sort of sweet/malty hop smell.
Taste: I didnt expect something so dark to be so full of crisp and sweet hoppy flavors, that mellowed out into a well balanced bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and bitter.
Overall: A deliciously hoppy dark beer that is well balanced and surprisingly refreshing.
