light golden yellow in color, white head. aroma is heavy on ginger, as expected. this is much more "beer" flavored than your typical ginger beer soda - but the ginger flavor stands out. thin bodied.

Freewill Brewing Co. "Ginger Beer"
on tap at the brewery on 9 April 2016
Notes: 6.1% $5 pint. Clear deep golden body beneath a bright white head. Average retention and lacing. Ginger in the nose and ginger in the flavor over a basic golden malt base. Woody, earthy, spicy ginger. Spicy, and 'hot', but still balanced. Dry with spicy-hot ginger lingering in the finish. I'm on the fence... is there enough character beyond the ginger? Is the ginger too much? Or is the fact that it comes across so clearly the most important thing?
