A - Chestnut brown colored pour, no carbonation, no lacing, no head or head retention. Color is dark, but clear.
S - Roasted caramel, a little earthy, delicate dark fruit, and faint bourbon.
T - Oak, light traces of bourbon, roasted caramel, slight earthiness, delicate vanilla, and a malty finish with little to no bitterness on the back end.
M - Medium body, somewhat sticky on the lips.
O - Not a fan of brown ales but this one is nicely done.
