Firkin at the Bulls Head in Lititz. I didn't get a chance to ask for details about this one but the bartender did mention wine barrels? Lots going on here.
This was a bit too still for me which impacted the aroma and mouthful scores. More importantly, everything worked well together flavor-wise.
There was a slight tartness that didn't taste out of place to me in a dry stout but I suppose it could have come from a wine barrel. The vanilla and coconut were subtle but noticeable and enjoyable. Overall none of the adjuncts managed to overwhelm the base stout, which I appreciated. I had two and thoroughly enjoyed them.
