Hazy IPA brewed with oats and milk sugar, hopped with Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Chinook. We get lots of tropical fruit aromas, with tasting notes of tangerine, honeydew melon, pineapple, and sweet cotton candy, with an underlying pine resin spice.

Canned on 6/22/17. Enjoyed on 6/28/17.
L. Hazy murky darkish yellow. Small head doesn't last long.
S. Pineapple, tropical, citrus zest. It really smells like a pineapple.
T. Citrus peel bitterness throughout, some soft bready sweetness, lemony with a dash of sweet orange followed by a bitter lemon, pineapple aftertaste balanced by piney bitterness. Aftertaste is more bitter with each sip. Nice and refreshing.
F. Medium body, just enough carbonation. A little resinous and a bit dry in the end with the lingering bitterness.
O. Well balanced juicy/bitter IPA, if you know what I mean. It hits both notes with equal deliciousness. I'm really enjoying this sucker. Cheers!!!

My first time trying a NE style IPA from Free Will. All I can say is not what I expected. It has the color and haze look. Banana colored with a fizzy white heading that doesn't stick around, then completely flat in a minute or two. Very citrusy in the nose and the taste is very bitter but the whole New England style is the mouthfeel with the thickness. This didn't have any of that. Kind of a seltzer water bubbly finish. Not impressive. Has the haze and the taste just doesn't have the ass.
