Oily black with absolutely no head or lacing.
The nose was a little boozy for me, but there was still a lot of dark chocolate and coconut notes to be found.
The coconut was pleasantly mellow. Lots of baker's chocolate and a healthy dose of ethanol, but far less than I was expecting. Earthy and a little smoky.
Kinda thin for the ABV and super low carbonation. I expect something like this to be viscous.
I'd love to see a more refined version of this base stout as I think it could be excellent. For being 16.7%, I'm impressed with how easy it goes down. This is a good beer, and probably one of the better ones that I've had from Free Will, but I'm *slightly* regretting spending $33 on a bottle.

On tap at Iron Abbey on release night. Dark brown/black with zero head, expected at 16.7% abv. Smell is char, coconut, alcohol. Taste is amazing with lots of coconut, solid base stout, and a slight chemical flavor I couldn't quite identify at first. After it warmed a little, I recognize it a alcohol; a toned down version of the aftertaste from a vodka shot. Mouthfeel is oily, surprising at this abv. Overall excellent job!
