Collaboration beer with Keystone Hops Homebrew Club. This Belgian-style Dubbel is full bodied and dry with notes of candied green banana, brown sugar, and caramel similar to that of bananas foster.

From a growler.
L. Cloudy deep red to brown with a short, slightly off-white head which recedes really slowly.
S. Lots of brown sugar and caramely banana, lightly spicy/earthy, dark bread.
T. Dark bread right away, a little fruity like tart banana, light caramel and brown sugar, light spice, grassy bitterness builds from the middle to the finish. Aftertaste is bitter and bready with some spice.
F. Lower-medium feel, not much carbonation, fairly dry finish. You'd never know it's 7.9%.
O. Balanced and easy drinking, and, as they say, approachable. Happy New Year and Cheers ! ! !
