Double IPA brewed with 120 pounds of fresh, hand squeezed Cara Cara oranges and hopped with Idaho 7, Ekuanot, and Apollo. This beer has refreshing notes of citrus spritz, candied bitter orange peel, sweet orange blossoms, tangerine dreams, and orange cream soda. A pleasantly firm hop bitterness provides the appropriate balance with supporting notes of tropical fruit.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a hazy amber with a persistent off-white head. Initial impression is sweet orange. Very sweet and very orange. Mouthfeel is soft and sticky. Carbonation is medium light. Alcohol is well hidden. Finish is sweet and orang-y. One-dimensional and too sweet.

At last, CANother NEW beer for Happy New CAN You Believe That I Am Drinking ALL of These Beers of My Own Free Will This Sunday? (Week 766)! The CANQuest (tm) Glugs on! Hooray!
From the CAN: "Double India Pale Ale - conditioned on fresh oranges"; "IBU - n/a[,] °P - 23.1[,] SRM - 4.4".
I finally got my act in one sock before Crack!ing open the vent to begin a slow, gentle C-Line Glug. Phew! I was amazed as it formed two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head of its own accord & even more so as it took forever to fall. Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9). Nose was a brilliant orange - zest, peel, juice, seeds, rind, all of it! Mmmm. Mouthfeel was medium, a little weak for an AIIPA/ADIPA. The taste was all orange from jump to finish, ranging from initially tart to semi-sweet to semi-dry & finishing with a semi-sweetness that was like morning orange juice! 8=O My morning choices begin with grapefruit, then tomato or V-8, orange & pineapple as a last resort. It's not that I dislike orange juice, but I like the others better. This was going to give me a full day's worth of Vitamin C & ABV in one fell swoop! Man, was this tasty, but it also masked the alcohol a little too well to the point that I was slugging it down with no CANtrol. Whee! Finish was semi-dry, but highly citrusy & pointedly orange. Yum. Now, I want a DunCAN Hines orange-spice cake! YMMV.

Overly orangy. Kind of like beer flavored orange soda. Way too much orange for my taste. Not horrible but wouldn't seek this one. 1st beer I have had from this brewery. Perhaps others are better.

16 oz can
appears hazy, dark golden in color, white head. aroma is heavy on citrus hop notes. taste is heavy on fruity flavors as weel, but fairly bitter and ends with strong bitter orange flavor that works. medium bodied.

The can I had wasn't as fresh as I'd like it to be. Decent overall, but didn't earn the 4.16.
