Named after the traditional English word for cranberry, this barrel aged sour ale was carefully blended to showcase the crisp tartness that accompanies the bog-grown fruit. Pouring a beautiful rich pink hue with notes of cranberry skin and earthy tannins.

Bottled in 2017. Poured from a 12.7 oz corked bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Copper brown pour... cloudy with 2 fingers of foamy white head. Falls fast.... leaving a solid ring of lacing.
S: Tart and acidic. Cranberry and funk.
T.F: Tart with a notable pucker. Strong cranberry. Apple cider vinegar and funk. Moderate acidity... a bit of spice and loads of oak. Some red wine character. Medium bodied with effervescent carbonation. Tart cranberry and funk at the finish.
O: A very well done cranberry forward sour. It goes well with the barrel... expect something north of 'tart'.

Very flavorful sour, mellowed by the oak cask aging.
Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Cloudy brownish pink with nice initial head and lacing. Fragrant cranberry smell, followed to the taste. Earthy, woodsy, hint of strawberry and vanilla. Enjoyed it ver much!

An incredibly flavorful wild cranberry sour. The oak cask aging melds the fruit, yeast, malt, and sour flavors beautifully and adds a rich depth of flavor with oak, leather, tannins, and vanilla. Delicious.
