Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Cloudy maroon/burgundy pour with thick fizzy pink head. Falls fast... minimal lacing.
S: Fruit and berry. Smells like juice.
T.F: Sweet/tart fruit... strong berry presence. Acai, blackberry, and pomegranate. Very modest tartness... not even close to sour. Sticky on the tongue and medium bodied. Not as thick as some of the other 'mash' beers I've had (especially mango). Well carbonated... lingering fruit and acai at the finish.
O: A delicious sweet/tart fruit beer. A nice change of pace from the IPA/stout routine.
