2018 Vintage with an Enjoy By of 2023.
A - Vibrant blueberry / purple colored pour with nice clarity and thin, dense, pink lacing.
S - Tart and sour blueberry aroma. Period.
T - Blueberry tartness and funk from start to finish that's a little bit puckering on the finish.
M - Bone dry on the back of the tongue while the rest of the mouth waters profusely with moderate puckering twang.
O - Not a fan of sours but this one is quite approachable without the need for popping a Pepcid! :o)

12.7oz bottle received courtesy of Jay O'Rear. Per the label, bottled in June, 2018, and best by 2023, one of 1,848 total.
Protected by a bottle cap AND a cork, this poured into a semi-tulip glass, this was a dark purple color, and became somewhere between burgundy and black when sitting in the glass. Big sized pinkish white head that was very noisy and dropped very quickly, although it never quite went away.
Sweet, tart and acidic nose. I get blueberries, sweet and woodsy oak notes, and a little bit of sour funk.
Sweet, tart and a little earthy up front, gets a little acidic and vinuous midway through, and finishes dry and slightly vinegary. Not a funk bomb, although it did get a little more funky as it warmed.
Light to-medium bodied, with a greater amount of carbonation than I expected, and a fairly coating mouthfeel.
Man, I dig this. Free Will is already on my list of breweries to visit should I find myself in that corner of PA oh, and this is done nothing to change that. Thanks, Jay!

Poured from a corked bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip. 2018 vintage
L: Cloudy grapejuice/blueberry colored pour. Thin fizzy white head... decent lacing. Some sediment at the end of the pour.
S: Tart and acidic. Blueberry puree and vinegar.
T.F: Tart bordering on but not quite sour. Strong blueberry and fruit. A bit of lemon citrus mixed with funk, oak, and apple cider vinegar. Moderate acidity. Medium to light bodied and well carbonated. More juicy blueberry and musty oak at the finish.
O: An excellent wild ale from Free Will. Great looking beer and they nailed the blueberry.

Pours a deep purple color, the head immediately fades. Huge aroma of blueberry and strong oak. Similar flavor in the taste, and quite sour, puckering. Yet very dry finish. Thin to medium bodied.

Gorgeous beer! Pours a deep, rich purple color with a light purple-pink head and beautiful lacing. Pleasant sweet blueberry smell and taste. Nicely tart, sour, and earthy. Very enjoyable beer.
