Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Haymaker Meadery, this wild ale was brewed with honey, aged in rum barrels with cherries, and later dry hopped with Amarillo. This beer is filled with notes of apricot, plum, cherry, and black currant.

Brownish red color, aroma was sour and honey. Taste was intense, very sour to start and mellowing out with a lot of honey and cherry. Very complex. Thin to medium feel.

2018 vintage bottle. Poured into a tulip glass, murky reddish brown color with good initial head and very nice lacing. Strong sour cherry smell and taste. Swish the bottle to get the good stuff at the bottom, it helps mellow the taste with a bit of warming. Smooth feel.

Labeled "Dry Hopped Wild Ale with Honey Aged in Rum Barrels with Cherries"
pours a cloudy reddish color, thick cream colored head. excellent head retention. aroma of tart cherry and wild flowers. taste starts with a puckering sour hit, but mellows out and the flavor depends. I get a bit of rich honey in there, but the cherry is dominant. thin to medium bodied, smooth creamy carbonation
