A - Dark burgundy color with a dense dark raspberry
S - Black currant jam aroma. Black currant dominates the nose.
T - Black current, black current, and black current with minuscule sweet malt in the background. The black current is borderline wine-like and has a little touch of acidity.
M - Thick and full with a silky texture.
O - Not doing it for me. I can't enjoy a beer that sets my gums on fire. Free Will is a good brewery but unfortunately this one is a miss. (And an expensive bottle at that.) I bought two bottle and will let the other one age.
