An adventurous marriage of foudre and barrel aged sour ales, which have rested on a variety of fruit. Our second blend in this series is an assemblage of cherry, peach, grape, blueberry, apple, and plum creating an illustrious tart fruit medley.

Poured from a corked bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Slightly cloudy burgundy pour with 1 finger of fizzy white head. Falls fast... modest ring of lacing.
S: Sharp and acidic. Apple cider vinegar, funk, oak, and fruit.
T.F: Just like it smells. Tart and acidic to start. Unripened fruit... vinegar, oak, barnyard, and baking cherry. A bit of a pucker... bordering on sour. Plum, apricot, and grape must. Some white wine character. Granny smith apple peel, and pear. Some fruit seepness creeps through but definitely on the tart/acidic side. Light bodied with effervescent carbonation. You can feel this one in the parotids. Complex... tart and fruity to finish.
O: An outstanding wild ale. Great complexity... and Free Will really does a good job mixing the sour/tart flavors with fruit and oak. Lovely beer.
