Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Nearly clear... copper brown pour. Pretty color... thin off-white head and minimal lacing.
S: Toasted grains and sugars. Toffee and medicine
T.F: Semi-sweet... and follows the nose. Grainy and toasted malts. Brown sugar, caramel, and toffee. Lacks depth... bready and could really use more fruit or hopping for balance. Sweet and somewhat medicinal. Medium bodied... a little boozy. Gets a bit better as it warms. More malts at the finish.
O: Not terrible but not great either. Pretty much all malt in the flavor and just missing something. With 9% ABV I thought they could have gotten more out of this beer. Pales in comparison to Ralphius, Ella, and the rest of the 'Free Will' lineup.

pours a brilliantly clear dark amber color, thin cream colored head that fades fairly quickly to nothing. aroma is all malt - sweet caramel with a bit of breadiness, a touch of fruitiness. similar flavors in the taste, fairly sweet. medium bodied.
