Tall boy can poured into a wide mouth pint glass
L: Very nice murky orange with a 2 finger head that faded over 5 minutes with no retention. Moderate lacing. Very nice to look at
S: The vanilla additions hit the nose instantly with grassy and unripe mango to follow. Very balanced but sweet nose that leaves one eager to take a sip.
T: The taste follows the nose but sadly not in the way one would like. Vanilla upfront that rapidly transitions to a very acidic citrus with some nice bitterness and vanilla sweetness on the end of the taste. Lingering bitterness which is probably the most enjoyable portion of the flavor profile. A bit of alcohol tingles on the end as well.
F: Rounded and full mouthfeel but the citric acid flavors combined with alcohol tingles dominate halfway through each sip.
O: This beer had a lot of potential but sadly the overly acidic citrus flavors take a lot away. I liked the addition of the vanilla and believe this would be a very solid NEIPA, easily 4+/5, if only the acidic citrus bite wasn't so pronounced. However, at $12 a 4pack of tallboys from my local shop and 7.1%, it's not a bad pickup and I'll gladly finish the other 3.

on draft at the brewery. Menu says brewed with Mango, Red Currant, and Vanilla
appears a murky opaque yellow with a greenish tint. not much head. aroma is fruity and sharp. taste is very acidic and harsh, not pleasant to my palate. almost a grainy sensation, not a good mouthfeel either. A big miss for me.
