16 oz can to a snifter. Pours dark, opaque brown, small 1 finger tan head that falls quickly. Aroma is coffee, roast malt, a bit of chocolate. Coffee is dominant which makes sense. Taste is coffee up front, a bit of roast malt, Chocolate in the middle. Finish had almost a lactose bite to it, even though I don't think they used any for this one. Weird. Finish brings about a hit of bitterness too. Aftertaste is malty and a bit of coffee. Feel is medium bodied with a nice carbonation that makes it rather lively on the tongue. Some drying effect at the end. Overall, this is a good coffee porter with a lot of flavor. I'd like a bit more body, but it holds up well.

Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my snifter. The beer is from a swap with @rolltide8425, thank you!
Beer pours a dark cola brown color with a very dense and creamy beige colored head of 1.5 cm. the foam is so creamy it looks like steamed milk on the surface. Leaves tight lattice after I swirl or have a sip of the beer.
Aroma is heavy with coffee and roasted malt and hints of dark chocolate. the coffee notes are the boldest on the nose and the ABV is hidden and the hops are not really present. Very malt driven nose.
First sip reveals a medium body and soft carbonation. texture is smooth and this beer drinks very easy and is pleasant on my palate.
Flavor is some dark chocolate and hints of caramel or toffee which moves quickly to black coffee and roasted malt notes. ANy sweetness is briefly perceptible before the roast notes moves in. I do get some light milk chocolate note on the finish too. This is a balanced porter between roasted and sweet, even though the coffee is dominant, it lets other flavors poke through here and there.
Im glad to have tried this one and glad I have another can or two left in the cellar!

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Dark, dark brown pour... nearly black with thick foamy mocha head. Great lacing.
S: Coffee, roast, and dark sugars.
T.F: Just like it smells. Strong espresso... roasted grains, faint chocolate. Sweet burned sugars... a bit of herbal hops for balance/bittering. Medium bodied... smooth and creamy mouthfeel.
O: A well done and pretty standard coffee porter. Well crafted and has all the expected flavors.
