Solid black appearance with very light carbonation. Definitely above average body with a slick, thick, creamy, slightly oily feel.
Aroma is a blast of booze, sweet bourbon, marshmallow, vanilla, Graham cracker, and milk chocolate.
Taste is sweet bourbon, alcohol but not as intense as it showed up in the aroma. Vanilla, Graham cracker, marshmallow, and milk chocolate.
Overall this has an excellent body with an amazing aroma. The taste is boozy smore and delivers dead on with the smore taste.

2020 version - 250 ml can
Pours inky black, tan colored head that fades. Huge aroma, and all the flavors are in there - a lot of graham cracker and toasty marshmallow, underlying chocolate. Similar taste, a touch boozy with the bourbon. Pretty thick.

Small head production and quickly faded; unsurprising given the ABV, additives, and barrel aging.
Nose is a wonderfully dark and rich blend of chocolate, bourbon, red grape, caramel, honeycomb, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla, toast, and light roast.
Flavor matches, with a restrained but noticeable booziness, moderate sweetness, and an incredible wave of nutty dark chocolate that comes along on on the second half and never lets go. Red grape and bourbon, honeycomb, brown sugar. Above all, this is a chocolate dessert stout, incredibly tasty, quite rich, and very sweet.

Pours black. Aroma dominated by vanilla & marshmallows with some chocolate. Taste is sweetness of vanilla & marshmallows with a strong bourbon flavor. Medium feel. Great stout.

Matte black with a thin, dark-tan head that quickly dissipates into a soupy crown.
Loads of marshmallow and vanilla in the nose with quick glimpses of chocolate, plum, root beer and bourbon beneath.
The base is more evident in the taste, but still with lots of marshmallow and vanilla — the latter’s sweetness balanced out by the brutal malts and booziness of the original. There’s a great touch of cinnamon; the chocolate is quite light; and any graham cracker may be psychosomatic.
Great slick, creamy feel with some moderate carbonation struggling to cut through.
A variant called S’mores is obviously a dessert beer, but it’s much less sweet and more drinkable than similar beers from other breweries and without sacrificing any elements. Top notch.
