Surprised me greatly. Was expecting this to be too sweet but it isn't. Heavy coffee aroma with loads of bitter chocolate in the taste. ABV is exceptionally well hidden.

I think I like the tiny can. At least I WANT to like it. I understand that it is a more appropriate serving size. Kind of like getting a 1/3# burger instead of a 1/2# burger. Objectively, this is a sound decision. Still, I haven't even gotten to the descriptors in my review yet and it's almost gone...
This is unsurprisingly great. For my taste though, I could do with less vanilla. It overshadows the chocolate and coffee. Still, all the components are here, beer, barrel, ad-junks, and all are in harmony. I'm diggin' it.

Pours dark brown — near black — with a thin, super-fizzy, dark-mocha head that quickly dissipates into a thin crown.
Sweet aroma with chocolate, breakfast-roast coffee, vanilla and caramel.
Chocolate, caramel and bourbon up front in the taste give way to nice coffee bitterness in the finish.
Slick, creamy feel with prickly, fizzy carbonation.
Fantastic coffee addition in this one. Really nice balance of flavors. A bit fizzier than I prefer.

8.4 oz slim can
Pours inky black, with thin tan head that quickly fades. Aroma is a nice mix of chocolate, coffee, caramel, vanilla. Similar taste, slightly sweet finish. Pretty smooth, full bodied.
