This beer is wonderfully warming and boozy- very nice on a cool evening.
Last of my Ralphius beers from Christmas 2020, consumed at the end of snow and ice crisis of 2021. Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Rich dark brown color with good initial head . Pleasant dark chocolate and whiskey smell and taste. Nice spiciness from the rye. Smooth feel. I look forward to getting Ralphius variants in the future.
Drinking the remains next to my own Ralphie. Him dood boy!

Matte black with a slight brownish hue. A short-lived, dark-mocha head quickly fizzes away into a soupy crown.
Chocolate, caramel and vanilla show up front in the nose, with just the slightest hint of rye spice in the whiskey. The slightest impressions of plum, cherry and root beer also make appearances.
Chocolate, vanilla, caramel and plum strike first in the taste, giving way to strong warming alcohol and nice rye spiciness in the finish. Very light hint of walnut and wood. Fairly boozy, like the OG Ralphius.
Slick, oily, smooth mouthfeel with a little fizz cutting through.
This is exactly what you’d expect the original base in rye barrels to taste like. Has distinctive rye character. Very enjoyable.
