Super tasty. Thick with hints of coffee and chocolate. A bit lacking in the mouth. Feeling thin, but overall excellent. Free Will never disappoints.

Poured from 8.4 oz can into a snifter glass. Pours deep brown with a small khaki head that falls quickly to nothing. Beer is still and looks pretty dense. Smell is chocolate, peppers, cinnamon, vanilla/bourbon. Taste starts with bourbon, chocolate, roasted malt. The middle sees the chilies kick in flavorwise with a bit of dark fruit. Finishes with a bit more pepper and a sweet cream flavor. The 13.5 % is evident and there's even a bit of peppery heat on the lips and tongue. Feel is full bodied, dense as it looks. Leaves a bit of a coating in the mouth. As it warms, you get a bit of leather and tobacco too. Overall, it's busy with a lot of flavors fighting for attention. The peppers are prominent for my taste, but they are mellowed by the sweetness evident throughout. Had it on tap at the brewery too and the canned version holds it own. It's interesting and changes as it warms. It'll warm too since drinking quickly is out of the question.

A - Dark brown pour with little to no lacing and no carbonation.

S - Cinnamon, roasted dark malt, and light booziness.

T - Dark roasted malt, booziness, cumin, and some heat.

M - Thick, syrupy, viscous, and lip smacking sticky.

O - There's alot going on in this beer. Busy with some heat.
