DDH Double IPA brewed with a base of flaked oats and wheat, hopped in the kettle with an old favorite - Simcoe, then double dry hopped with Citra, Azacca, and extra Simcoe for good measure. Tons of juicy sweet clementine up front, followed by a more grapefruit citrus-esque undertone, which washes away with notes of peach creme saver.

A very murky orange-amber color has the contents of a pint can now in wait in a clear Imperial pint mug. There's some near white head capping it off. The smell is of dank and earthy hops, maybe a little malt as well. The taste starts with a bit of alcohol that promotes the sweetness of the malt. The hops begin their run of the taste by transitioning from dank to dryly bitter. This is also joined by alcohol, but this time it detracts from the taste and mouthfeel. Other than that, this has a good body and drinks richly. This one misses being an exceptional DIPA by just a little bit.

A - Pours a medium opaque orange gold color with thin, dense white lacing. Little to no carbonation.
S - Apricot and citrus are the main headliners here.
T - Spicy orange, orange, and more orange dominate the palate. Sweet red grapefruit, peach, apricot, and citrus follow afterwards with a lingering clementine/orange on the back side.
M - Big body with light carbonated pricklies dancing on the tongue.
O - Unobtrusive and hides the ABV. A little one dimensional but overall solid.
