Orange Bitters Barrel Aged Belgian Wit with Orange Peel, Chamomile, and Coriander.
This mixed culture wit was brewed utilizing locally grown wheat from our friend Ned at Two Particular Acres, as well as a combination of orange peel, chamomile, and coriander. It was then fermented in stainless with our house saison yeast, before aging in both an orange bitters barrel and a wine barrel for seven months. After aging, these two barrels were blended together which created a rustic wheat driven farmhouse beer, with notes of creamy satsuma orange, floral jasmine, and candied lemon.
