Matte black with a thin, soupy, dark mocha head that quickly settles into a minimal crown that leaves sparse, spotty lacing.
Chocolate brownie, vanilla and caramel stand out in the nose. Very smooth.
Lots of caramel and toffee-topped brownie batter in the taste, with fruity hints of cherry, fig and plum behind. A little cola. Nice kiss of alcohol heat, too.
Medium bodied and slick feeling with some nice zip to the peppery carbonation.
Very nice beer. Definitely sweeter than many earlier variants.
