Poured at fridge temp. Pours a beautiful thick black with little light brown head. Nose is vanilla, coffee, toffee, chocolate, wood, dark malts. The taste is absolutely amazing. Intense chocolate and coffee, bourbon, vanilla, brown sugar, figs, prunes, molasses. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. The ABV is definitely detectable. Overall, this is an amazing and super intense coffee stout.

A - Dark brown that's borderline blac on the pour with dense caramel colored lacing.
S - Big mocha and coffee bean aroma with dark chocolate roast lingering in the background.
T - Mocha and dark chocolate roast with some Bourbon quality and oak barrel.
M - Thick and silky soft with some slight coagulation on the palate.
O - This is a really fantastic beer and a great variant.

12 oz bottle, 2021 release
Pours jet black with brown colored head that fades to a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Huge aroma - strong espresso and dark cocoa over top of the bourbon. Similar taste, just a touch of booze. A little sweet, fudgey. Thick, full bodied and silky smooth.

This was my New Year’s Eve beer, sipping it into the new year.
This is a very good beer but maybe a bit over the top. It tastes like a liquid brownie backed with a little coffee in the batter. The taste itself is very nice. It is just a bit too sweet for me to give a 4.5 on taste. I enjoyed the beer very much and I am looking forward to my next Ralphius variant.

Very dark brown — approaching black — with a half-finger of short-lived, mocha-colored head and some audible fizz. It settles into a nice wisp and crown. Minimal lacing.
Really a rainbow of aromas. When I first cracked the bottle, I got a big whiff of dark fruit. When I put my nose up to the bottle, I got huge creamy, rich chocolate. In the glass I first got some pretty big dark-roast coffee.
The taste is a surprisingly smooth melding of the three. I get coffee the most, but there’s still some nice RIS fruit to it, and strong chocolatey layers. Hints of almond and toffee. A little cola or root beer sweetness in the finish, which plays nicely off the bitterness of the coffee. Moderate warming alcohol — not too hot for these guys.
Medium bodied and creamy feeling with tight, fizzy carbonation.
Very pleasant, well-blended brew that’s tasting beautifully fresh. Wish I’d bought more.
