Disappointed in this one, lighyly metallic taste and not the flavor I look for in a NEIPA. This one has something going on that just did not work for me. Try FWs other NEIPAs which put this one to shame.

A tap handle was pulled and a clear pint glass was filled with this dirty blond liquid. It's obviously well carbonated, but there's no head at all. It's opaque, but not dull in character. The smell is like most hazies, mildly hoppy and muted by starches. The taste is good, more earthy than sharply piney or citrusy. That's the basic taste performance of this style. Hops actually dominate the taste, but they're, as mentioned, earthy and dank. The finish doesn't linger and it dries out a bit. Although the color and mouthfeel are fine, there's no lacing at all. Many of its pluses are what it doesn't bring. There's no unnecessary sweetness, no starchy taste, no perfume-llke or fruitiness to taste and there wasn't any billowing starchy foam on top. There's no reason to not have this again.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a very hazy gold, with a persistent off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is orange rind, tropical fruits, mango, pink grapefruit, and peach. Mouthfeel is fairly soft. Finish is somewhat sweet, but nicely offset by a slight tartness. Overall, a very enjoyable IPA.
