A new DIPA of most excellent fancy… here, now.
Infinite Mirth - Hazy Double IPA brewed with a heavy load of flaked oats and some wheat, then hopped with a brand new, cutting edge blend of cryo hops called “pop”, along with a very excellent harvest of Simcoe. This IPA had our highest finishing gravity to date, meaning a very full body and properly chewy mouthfeel. Notes of tropical papaya, pineapple, and juicy peach.

Beer #1,200 rated on BA. Appropriate that it’s at my local brewery, Free Will in Perkasie. PA on July 4th
Poured on tap into a FW pint glass. A very hazy, totally opaque honey-yellow color. Nice sticky lacing on the glass.
Aromas of tropical fruits and hops.
As usual, another great IPA from FW. Flavors of peach, mango and pineapple with a nice hoppy bite. Very easy drinking even at almost 8% ABV
Creamy mouthfeel, mild, small bubble carbonation.
Another great tasting IPA from my favorite brewery. FW never disappoints...cheers!

Looks all hazy and shit with two solid fingaz of tight white head. Good retention and lacing gets a begrudgingly decent grade even if the body looks like a dingleberry smoothie with like 3 drops of blood mixed in. It's not a terribly appetizing sight to behold. Smells, up front anyway, almost exactly like sticking your nose in your pot stash. There's some strawberry too. Also something sharp and just... hoppy? I dunno, man. It smells like a NEIPA. That can be either good or bad depending on which the side of the fence you carry your pitchfork on. Me, I find it less offensive than most. Tastes a little odd. Green, but not hoppy. Kind of like Summertime grass. Not that I go around mowing my lawn with my teeth or anything, but you know what I mean. Fruity notes take over after that. Peach. Melon. Strawberry. Label says they used a cryo "pop" blend and simcoe for hops. Really? No mosaic? Fooled me. Anyway, finishes incredibly sweet. Sticky. Leave this out in the warm weather and it will surely attract ants. Somewhat lower in carbonation than I normally associate with the style, but it doesn't make it drink heavy or anything. Eh... it's fine. Others will like it far more than me, I'm sure.
EDIT: This gives me weird, hoppy burps.
